Minuteman’s Program Management Office (PMO) is a team of professionally-certified specialists with experience in project management, security, and related trades.

A named Program Manager acts as your single point of contact for everything security-related, coordinating smooth installations and upgrades by always accounting for regional and regulatory complexity.

The PMO serves enterprises with geographically-dispersed sites, has complex integrated security systems, or operates in a closely-regulated industry. Or all three.

Minuteman’s PMO has overseen projects in dozens of countries and US states.

Delivering Consistency

As your company rolls out its security systems among its US and overseas facilities, the challenges multiply.

Here’s why – each of your company’s sites is its own unique situation. It’s in a different state or country, with local regulations and maybe different languages. It’s in a different time zone. It might have developed its own set of security standards. Different field technicians touch the cameras and doors.

Enterprise-wide consistency can only be achieved when each of these sites are part of a single security system. Professional program management makes that happen.

Project Standardization

The PMO’s primary tool for delivering security system consistency is the client playbook. This living document captures all of your company’s standards for a facility’s security systems.

Customized for you, the playbook lays out a practical roadmap for aligning each facility with your corporate policies and processes, and prevents mismatching of technologies and equipment. The playbook is also a vital tool when you need to integrate corporate acquisitions.

Overseas and National Partners

For your projects located away from Minuteman’s branch offices, the PMO subcontracts hands-on work to known-good local technician teams who are also familiar with local building regulations. These partners are regularly vetted for professionalism and their consistent commitment to follow instructions to the letter.

The PMO can also work closely with your in-house integration staff and preferred local vendors for electrical and networking. Our Program Managers periodically visit sites for continued adherence to the project spec, safety protocols, and timelines.

International Considerations

Your program playbook will account for geographic and jurisdictional differences in:

Purchasing

Hardware warranties, software licensing, liability insurance, and purchasing terms.

Shipping and Logistics

Import regulations which can affect delivery times, customs fees that affect project cost, local taxes, and accounting for in-country availability of certain components.

Permitting

Coordination of pre-commissioning inspection from the local AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) for construction, electrical, fire, and security.

Ethics

When performing work outside the USA, we operate according to the ethical standards of the host country or your company – whichever is stricter.

Regulatory Compliance

Adherence to US industry regulations and non-US regulations regarding privacy and data retention. Delivering documentation for third-party audits.

After Commissioning

Your Program Manager remains your single point of contact.

He trains users (in local languages when necessary), tracks maintenance needs, orders service anywhere in the world, monitors system performance, produces periodic reports, and helps you forecast a security budget for upgrades.
